Introduction
The Embassy of Denmark is pleased to announce the opening of Visa Application Centres operated by VF Services (UK) Limited.

The applications can be submitted at the Denmark Visa Application Centres in London, Manchester or Edinburgh (UK). All applications will be assessed by The Embassy of Denmark, London. VFS offers the option of courier service for return of your documents submitted.

For Prospective Applicants

Applicants who wish to apply for a Visa or Residence/ Work permit are requested to carefully read the information on this site. The guidelines listed on this site are to help you prepare your documents as accurately as possible. This will reduce the chances of your application being incomplete or a delay in being processed.

Please note that you may be required to appear before a Visa Officer for a personal interview at the Embassy of Denmark in London prior to a decision being taken on your application.
 
Visa Application Process
Step 1 : ALL applicants traveling must apply in person – Upon arrival in the visa application centre, you will be given a token at the entrance and be seated in the waiting area – next you will be called to our submission counter where your application and supporting documents will be scrutinised – your photograph and passport will be checked for validity. Finally, you will be issued a receipt as an acknowledgement for the fees and service charges paid. Please retain your receipt and ensure that you bring it with you when collecting your passport.
Step 2 : Please go to the link “Short Stay (Up to 90 days)” to choose the right Visa and to find out the documentary requirements to make the application.
Step 3 : Please schedule an appointment at the visa application centre in London, Manchester or Edinburgh to submit your application.
EU family member, Business and Conference applications can be submitted without an appointment at the Joint Visa Application centres between 8:30 – 12:00 hrs on the days mentioned below

London - Monday to Friday except Tuesdays ,
Manchester - Tuesday to Friday
Edinburgh – Monday to Thursday

Permit Application Process

Student permit, Work permit, EU Spouse permit can be submitted without an appointment at the Joint Visa Application centres between 8:30 – 12:00 hrs on the days mentioned below
