Step 1
Only Short term visas, Green Card and Family Reunification applications are accepted at our VFS application centres (Please note that from 20/05/12 Green Card and Family Reunification visa applications can will no longer be accepted at our Manchester and Edinburgh offices. From this date, applications for these visa categories can only be accepted at our London visa application centre).

Step 2
Mandatory - Please Schedule an appointment at the visa application center’s in London and Manchester to submit your Short Stay, Green Card or Family Reunification application. Click on the following link to make an appointment. Edinburgh is a walk- in center, please click on the ‘contact us’ link for details.

Step 3
Please go to the link “All about your Visas” to understand details of Short Stay, Green Card and Family Reunification. Please read all sections carefully, paying close attention to the documents required section. Please click on the link for an overview of the Application Procedure

Step 4
ALL applicants traveling must apply in person - On arriving the visa application centre, you will require to take a token at the entrance and be seated in the waiting area – you will next be called to our submission counter where your application and supporting documents will be scrutinized – your photograph and passport will be checked for validity – Finally, you will be issued a receipt for the fees and service charges paid as an acknowledgement. Please retain your receipt, and ensure that you bring it with you when collecting your passport.
